“My Chemical Throw-mance” are the Ultimate Champions of the Spring ‘23 Season, after defeating “Big Disc Energy” 11-9!

It was the playoffs for Ultimate last night and it didn’t disappoint. The championship game was between “My Chemical Throw-mance” and “Big Disc Energy” and it was a match to remember. “My Chemical Throw-mance” started the championship off hot by scoring the first points of the game. Throw after well placed throw by “My Chemical Throw-mance” created a wide gap from “Big Disc Energy” which gave them a big lead going into halftime. At the start of the second half, you could hear the ferocity in “Big Disc Energy’s” team chant. They weren't going down without a fight! “Big Disc Energy” kicked their energy into overdrive and dominated the field and caught everything in sight. Players were leaping and snagging discs out of the air and stretching their bodies as far as possible to grab a disc that was headed for out of bounds. “Big Disc Energy” was able to keep up their ferocity with help from their teammates that were cheering at every pass they caught. The last point was called out by the official and the score was “My Chemical Throw-mance” 10 and “Big Disc Energy” 9. Each team tried everything they could to make perfect passes and catch everything that was thrown, but “My Chemical Throw-mance” was able to score one final touchdown to win the championship!.
