“Hidden Leaf FC” are the Friday Soccer Champions of the Late Fall ‘22 season, after defeating “Longshots” 4-3!
It was the playoffs for Friday soccer last week, and it did not disappoint! “Hidden Leaf FC” came out on fire in the championship and took an early lead with an impressive goal, but “Longshots” came right back and scored an amazing goal of their own and tied the game up at 1-1. Both teams played their hearts out and scored two goals in the first half, and neither of them were backing down from one another. “Hidden Leaf FC” came out of halftime determined to score, and that's exactly what they did. “Hidden Leaf FC” scored another immaculate goal at the start of the second half and took an early 3-2 lead. “Longshots” offense came alive right after “Hidden Leaf FC” scored, and continued to apply pressure to “Hidden Leaf FC’s” defense. “Longshots” were able to score another goal to tie it up at 3-3 in the second half. It looked like the “Longshots” were going to be crowned the champions, but “Hidden Leaf FC” had other ideas. “Hidden Leaf FC” was able to score one last goal late in the second half to take the lead, and they never looked back from there!
