SAND Volleyball - Advanced 4s - Mondays (Summer '21)

“Splinter’s Angels” are the Advanced Sand Volleyball Champions of the Summer ‘21 season, after defeating “California Rolls” 2-0!

“Splinter’s Angels” entered the playoffs as the 5th seed, and they had to win three games in a row to make it to the championship. Their amazing run started off with a 2-0 victory over the “Mighty Giraffes”. Both teams played very well and neither of them were backing down from one another. But “Splinters Angels” displayed amazing team work and were able to advance to the semi-finals to take on a very dangerous”Notorious D.I.G.” team.

“Notorious D.I.G.” was the number one seed entering the playoffs and one of the favorites to win the championship. But “Splinters Angels” came into the game on a hot streak and continued their amazing play against “Notorious D.I.G.”. All three matches were tight, and no one knew who would advance to the finals. It all came down to the last match, and it looked like “Notorious D.I.G” were going to come out on top. But “Splinters Angels” played a phenomenal third match, and defeated “Notorious D.I.G.” to advance to the finals and continue their incredible playoff run!

The finals were set and “Splinters Angles” had to defeat “California Rolls” before they could claim themselves champions of sand volleyball. “California Rolls” were a very formidable team, but “Splinters Angels” were on a winning streak that could not be stopped. Both matches were nail biters and neither team was going down without a fight. “California Rolls” played a fantastic game, but “Splinters Angels” could not be stopped in these playoffs. “Splinters Angels” went on to win both matches and became the champions of the league!
