"The Giraffes" are our Intermediate 4's champions, defeating "Chewblocka" in 3 sets.
"The Giraffes" entered the bracket as the #1 seed, so they had a bye while "Chewblocka" took on "SHOOOSH!!!". In that game "Chewblocka" actually lost the first set before battling back to win the match.
In the championship game our champs got out to the early 1-0 lead, but "Chewblocka" fought back to take the 2nd set 23-22. "The Giraffes" got back to the basics in the 3rd set though, cruising to a 21-13 victory and taking the title.
With the championship win "The Giraffes" complete a perfect 9-0 season. They also end with a league-high +12 set differential, dwarfing all the other teams in the league.
Congratulations to them on their perfect season and we hope to see them come back next spring!
