"Los Kickers" are our Midtown champions, putting up a combined 23 runs in their 2 playoff games to take the title.
As was the case all season, offense was the key to their success. In the last five weeks "Los Kickers" had put up at least 9 runs in each game and this didn't stop last night as they put up 12 runs in their semifinal matchup against "Kickelback" before putting up an 11-spot in the championship. Simply put, their offense couldn't be stopped.
Their defense was no slouch either, allowing just 3 runs per game throughout the season. All of that adds up to an impressive +52 point differential, smashing the rest of the league in that category.
Overall they finish with an 8-1-1 record. Their lone loss of the season was a bit of a headscratcher to "Team B". However, the loss may have been a good thing because after that point is when the offense for "Los Kickers" really went to another level.
They also tied "Ballsagna" in a great 4-4 ballgame early in the season. "Ballsagna" would make the playoffs, but lose in the semifinals to "Bali Ballers".
