"Livin' on a Spare" is our Thursday bowling champion, defeating "I can't believe it's not gutter" by the score of 11-4. The win also marks back to back championships!
It took a team effort last night to secure the win as both teams hovered around the 550+ pin total mark all night, with our champs even nearly reaching 600 a couple of times.
Normally Chris is a guaranteed 2-3 points a night, but he ran into a buzzsaw on the other lane, dropping all three of his match ups by the slimmest of margins. The rest of the team picked him up though, with John, Jan, and Judy securing 11 of the 12 remaining points in their matchups. Their amazing consistency throughout last night's game is what got them the win.
Overall "Livin' on a Spare" goes undefeated, picking up a total of 91 points along the way. That far outpaces their championship game opponent "I can't believe it's not gutter" who finished second place with 74 points.
