"The Rollin' Bunts" are are Midtown champions, rolling through the competition in their two playoff games last night.
Their first win was a 10-1 shellacking of "Tydee Whitey's", followed by a comfortable 11-5 championship game win over the "Ballbarians". The win was never in doubt, and from start to finish our champs knew they were the better team. That's even despite a 5-4 loss to them earlier this season.
Overall "The Rollin' Bunts" finish with an impressive 9-1 record. They also finish with a +34 point differential, head and shoulders above the league in that department. For reference, that more than doubles the team who finished in second place, "Pitches Be Crazy", who finished with a +15.
Their offense has a lot to do with that, regularly putting up lots of runs. In all, they'd score at least 8 runs in seven of their ten games this season.
In total it was an incredible season for "The Rollin' Bunts". Congratulations on the title!
