"Motion to Strike" is our Winter '19 champion, taking down the "IndomitaBowls" is a tightly contested 9-6 victory.
Ed led the way for our champs, putting up a score of 205 in the first game, then following that up with a 194 and a 158. Brian was also key, picking up a point in every game he played.
The game was close throughout, and after game one it was 3-2 in favor of "Motion to Strike". After game two it was 6-4. Little by little they built their lead and in game three they stood strong, once again picking up 3 points to their opponent's 2, securing the 9-6 win.
For "Motion to Strike" it was quite the upset, as "IndomitaBowls" had dominated the competition all season. In fact, they entered the game with an undefeated 6-0 record. As they say, records were made to be broken.
When our champs were on their game they were unstoppable, though sometimes it was the polar opposite. Still, they recorded two separate 15-0 wins during the regular season, both of which played a big part in "Motion to Strike" making the championship game.
