"On Tuesdays We Wear PINK!" is our Tuesday Kickball champion! They entered the playoffs as the favorite to win it all, but with six total teams, it wasn't a given they'd win anything.
As the top seed they had a first round bye before cruising to a 13-3 win over "Who Do We Appreciate?" in the second round of the playoffs. On the other side of the bracket "Ball Busters" held true to their #2 seed and narrowly defeated "Yellow From the Other Side" by the score of 10-9.
In the championship game things took a defensive shift, with the top two teams unable to get their offenses going. Instead it was the defenses that were dominant, making great plays all over the field. For "On Tuesdays We Wear PINK!", all it took was one offensive inning. They would score 3 runs in the bottom of the third, and from there their superb defense closed things out.
Overall "On Tuesdays We Wear PINK!" finished with an undefeated 9-0-1 record. That lone tie came in week again against the playoff team "We've Got the Runs". Further establishing their dominance this season is their +51 run differential, showing they are equally great on both sides of the ball.
Congratulations to "On Tuesdays We Wear PINK!" on the fantastic season, and we can't wait to see if they can defend their title!
