Bowling - Tuesdays (Winter '17)

The "Urban Achievers" are our Tuesday Night Bowling champions following a dominant championship performance. Their 4-0 win was an excellent display of how well this team had played together over the past month.

It was a slow start to the season for "Urban Achievers" losing 3- 1 and 4-0 in their first two games of the season. But, at some point things clicked for this group and just like that they were unstoppable. So unstoppable that they'd pick up three straight 4-0 wins before finally dropping a point in the final regular season game, but still winning 3-1.

Heading into the championship on fire meant their opponent, "Balls of Fire!", faced quite the uphill battle. Much like their season "Urban Achievers" started off slow, but were still able to pull off a 7-pin win despite bowling a below-average game for their standards. Fortunately "Balls of Fire!" also had a low-scoring game, thus leading to the game 1 win.

In the second game "Urban Achievers" picked it up, and thanks to much better games overall, won in an overwhelming fashion. Specifically, Sean nearly doubled his score from game one while Paul bowled almost 50 points above his average as the two led their team to a 150-pin game 2 victory. With the win, "Urban Achievers" had completed the 4-0 sweep.

Congratulations to "Urban Achievers" on their great season, closing it out with 5 straight wins, and even more impressively dropping only one game in that span. Their display of true dominance through the end of the season was definitely something to behold!
