Volleyball - Tuesday's (Summer '16) - Presented By Miller Lite

"Scary Crew 916" is our Tuesday Night Volleyball champion! Their fantastic offense combined with great defense led to back-to-back wins in straight sets. Heading into the night they were the top seed from the regular season and most certainly the favorite to win it all after going 7-1.

The first game of the night saw "Scary Crew 916" take on "How I Set Your Mother". Right away "Scary Crew 916" showed they brought their 'A' game after starting game one with the serve. They dominated and ended up winning it 21-10. "How I Set Your Mother" gave them a run for their money for the first half of game two, but "Scary Crew 916" eventually pulled ahead with a strong lead and won the game 21-18.

Our second game of the night was between "Notorious D.I.G." and "I'd Hit That". "Notorious D.I.G" started with the serve and had control of the ball the entire game - winning game one 21-17. Game two proved to be a great one with the rallies lasting forever. Eventually though
"I'd Hit That" would pick up the 21-13 win to force a deciding third game. In that third game, again the teams were incredibly evenly matched. But, once again the wiley verteran team of "I'd Hit That" was able to pull through for a clutch 21-13 win to put themselves through to the championship.

In our championship game both teams came out strong and once again we had some great rallies. "Scary Crew 916" was just too good and "I'd Hit That" was unable to gain much momentum or pick up a win. Instead, "Scary Crew 916" picked up a 21-13 win and game one followed by nearly identical 21-14 game two win to secure the championship.

Congrats to "Scary Crew 916" on a great season, including a perfect playoff run last night!
