The "Hammerheads" are our Wednesday Night Ultimate league champions following an impressively undefeated season. The 8-0 "Hammerheads" were far and away the best team this season, though they did have one close call midway through the season that could have made the difference between first and second place.
That game came against the second place team "Gold & Delicious" in what turned out the be a hotly contested game. Heading into the game "Hammerheads" were on top of their game with a 4-0 record and looking to make it five. They were able to do just that by squeaking out a narrow 12-11 win, and from there they closed out their season strong to remain undefeated.
Overall the "Hammerheads" were thoroughly dominant, with only one team managing to reach double figures in points against them all season (Gold & Delicious). They also posted so gaudy point differential numbers that would beat the champs in most of our other Ultimate leagues as well.
Once again congrats to "Hammerheads" on the absolutely perfect season, we hope they enjoyed it as much as we did!
