Kickball - Tuesdays (Spring '16)

"RiKICKulous" is our Kickball Downtown Division champion after a 2-0 shutout victory in the championship game. Having done all the hard work during the regular season, "RiKICKulous" was able to sit out the first round of playoff games while they awaited their challenger for the championship game.

That first game of the night in the Downtown Division was between the #2 "Another Won" and #3 "RSE." Going into the game "RSE" knew they had a tough challenge in front of them after their two previous losses to "Another Won" were both by at least six runs. Unfortunately for them "Another Won" picked up another win, though by a smaller than normal margin of 4-1. That set us up for a championship game featuring the top two teams from the regular season.

In the championship game it was all defense for "RiKICKulous" who was able to thwart any and all attempts by "Another Won" to score. They say defense wins championships and that was certainly proven the case here with "RiKICKulous" pulling off multiple 1-2-3 innings. Offensively they only scored twice, but that was more than enough for them to take the victory.

Congrats to "RiKICKulous" on a fantastic season! We hope they bring it again next season as they look to defend their title.
